Prayer Lock
My apps didn't lock at prayer time (Android)
Some phones stop apps running in the background to save battery. Open Lock → ⚙ → Check my phone and follow the steps for your brand. In short:
- Xiaomi / Redmi / POCO: Settings → Apps → Gracio → Autostart on; Battery saver → No restrictions.
- OPPO / realme: Settings → Battery → Gracio → Allow background activity and Allow auto launch.
- vivo: Settings → Battery → Background power consumption → Gracio → Allow.
- Samsung: Settings → Apps → Gracio → Battery → Unrestricted.
- Infinix / TECNO: Phone Master → App auto-start → Gracio on.
My apps didn't lock (iPhone)
Check Settings → Screen Time → Apps with Screen Time Access → Gracio is on. Prayer Lock needs iOS 16 or later.
I need my apps right now
Tap Emergency unlock on the lock screen. You have a few each week, and every lock also ends on its own at the time shown. You can turn Prayer Lock off anytime in Lock → ⚙.
The timer paused
Prayer time counts only while the prayer is open on your screen. If you leave the app or the screen turns off, the timer pauses and continues when you come back.
Readings, Bible & offline
- The next 14 days of readings download automatically when you're on Wi-Fi or open the app with data.
- To read the Bible offline: Pray → Bible → ⋯ → Downloads. Each translation is about 1.5 MB.
- To save data, turn on Me → Settings → Data saver.
Groups
- Join a group: Groups → Join with a code or QR, or tap the invite link someone sent you.
- Report or mute: long-press a message → Report, or ask a group admin.
- Event times look wrong: check Me → Profile → Home time zone.
Subscription & payments
- Pay with GCash or Maya: add it as a payment method in the App Store (Apple ID → Payment) or Google Play (Payments & subscriptions), then subscribe in Gracio.
- Cancel: Me → Subscription → Cancel takes you straight to your store's page.
- Refunds: handled by Apple (reportaproblem.apple.com) or Google Play (play.google.com → Order history).
- Restore purchases: Me → Subscription → Restore.
